http://www.ibaireland.org/circuit.htmlDid this wed and thurs last week, left Dublin 6:30pm Wednesday got back 7:30pm Thursday. By my odometer twas 1455kms (823miles). Dublin - Ballycastle, Antrim - Letterkenny - Clifden - Killarney - Cork - Wexford - Dublin. These are mandatory stops and you have to prove you where with timestamped reciepts, ATM, petrol station etc.And you have to do the entire trip including rest / fuel stops within 24 hours. Got a little lost here and there and made a balls of things altogether on the last stretch, N11 from Wexford to Dublin, so in the end it took me 25 hours. Am going to attempt it again hopefully in about 2 months time. There are lots of requirements, eg mandatory rest stops of a minimum of 20 mins every 350kms or less. Getting fuel at 6am in Connemara however is a challenge, i was running on fumes several times!! Roads rated at 100kph that you couldnt drive more than 30kph over they were that bad!! Feckin sheep bolting out in front of you!!
Good craic though and cant wait to do it again.
